Today's vendor show went very well. I think I'm running on about 10 hours of sleep over the past two nights and I've been hanging on the ropes since about 3:30 this afternoon. It's now almost 8pm, that was my goal to stay up until, hoping I'd sleep though the night - not wake up in the middle of the night, wondering what century it is.
Here's a quick picture of my table. Yes, I had my very own table for crafts at this show, versus cramming a pile of my stuff on the end of our laser table:
I'm hoping to do more of a post about it later, maybe tomorrow.
For now, I SLEEP.
Oh. And... I have my book! :O
I'm heading to a vendor show this morning on almost no sleep...I hear ya! I'd be curious to know how you use/integrate models in your art stuff, as I have recently been encouraged to bring more model stuff, but few around here know what a model horse is!
ReplyDeleteGood luck at your show!! As far as the models, I took them "just because". I did it on a whim at a vendor show earlier this spring and decided to take them again yesterday. I guess just to show off "other things" that I make. I find that they are also good conversation starters with other horse people. They get some random attention from other people too. Lastly, they make me happy. ;) So I suppose they are "table decor". I may keep up the tradition and keep a horse or two with costume or tack on my table from here on out. I would take some model stuff with you if you want to, you never know... I figure the odds of me actually finding other model horse people over here is VERY slim, but again, I guess ya never know. ;) Each time they've been on my table I've ended up chatting with a couple of (real) horse people. That's fun too.
DeleteThat looks awesome! Love the arabian costumes.
ReplyDeleteThank you! They are both in progress - and have been for a long time... haha
