Thankful Thursday: Beauty All Around

It's been a while since I've done a Thankful post and today feels like a great time to do one.

Over the last two days, Jeff and I went on a motorcycle trip through a chunk of northwestern Japan.

I just have to say that I'm so incredibly thankful to be living where we are, and to be able to travel and see the beauty all around us.

I took some pictures - not as many as I normally would, since the last day it ended up raining on us most of the ride - but here are a couple of quick pictures from the trip.

We saw (lots of) wild monkeys!

And a beautiful Buddist temple grounds.

I'm planning a full write up about the trip (and the Strong Horses!) in the next day or two.
