Hike in the Hills

Today we went for a hike in the Black Hill with a friend and our collective pack of 4 dogs. 

We did one of our favorite trails, a beautiful four mile loop.  The weather was perfect, cloudy and a little cool when we started around 10am, but then toward the end the sun came out and it warmed up.

I took a bunch of pictures, but will add them tomorrow!  ;)

Movie Date

Today I spent a little time at the barn, cleaning Bo's stall.  Then Jeff and I decided to load up the pups and go for a hike in the hills.  But we ended up just driving around some and then coming back home.  We then turned around and went back to town to see the final Hobbit movie.  It was really good - lots of action and emotion, and a few laughs.

On the crafting front, I made a few cross necklaces this morning, but other than that no crafting or laser work got done today.  I'm trying not to stress too much, though I do know the days are slipping away until the Stock Show - and our big move.  Tomorrow is another day...

I did stay home today, got some housework done finally, and did a bit of organizing, played with some new wood stains and... took a nap.  Been feeling really wiped out today.  I think the last few days of craziness took a lot out of me. 

Christmas feels like it is tomorrow, but there's still a bit to go.  I'm done (I think) with the shopping and mailing.  Tonight we went grocery shopping and I randomly decided I'm going to make a bunch of banana bread for our friends and neighbors.  It's something I've done in the past - I've baked up to 20 or 30 loaves at a time for Christmas before, but I've kind of gotten out of all that.  I think I'll make some this weekend.  (I'd better, we bought about 30 bananas at the store tonight!)

Busy Day, Part Three

I feel like my posts have been quite repetitive lately!  I'm hoping to make a REAL post tomorrow.  If all goes according to plan, I will NOT be running all over town again tomorrow and can finally get some work done here at home.

On today's list was: dentist appointment, vet appointment for my Kitten, and a social function for Jeff's work tonight.

Now, it's time for early bed.

Crazy Busy Day

Another crazy, busy day today - running errands, Christmas shopping, mailing out more boxes, and getting a(nother) new phone.  Ugh.

MORE to do tomorrow then I'm HOPING to have a day at home...

Mail and Buy All The Things!!!

Today I spent hours readying Christmas cards, a Christmas package, and two sales boxes, to ship out.  Then I went to the Post Office and mailed all the things.

Then I went to town and braved the people to do some Christmas shopping and buy all the things...  Yes, pretty close to last minute.

Tomorrow I need to mail more things and go back to town to buy a few more things (presents and laser supplies) that I just ran out of steam to go get today.

In short: no crafting or laser work done today, I'm hoping once this last minute Christmas rush is over that I'll be able to get BUSY.  I really need too.

I also need to go to the bank and do grocery shopping...

Motivation Monday

I like Monday.  Yes, I'm weird... but to me, Monday is a fresh start..  The beginning of a new week, full of promise and chances to get things done and work toward goals.  With that in mind, here's some motivation!
