I did stay home today, got some housework done finally, and did a bit of organizing, played with some new wood stains and... took a nap. Been feeling really wiped out today. I think the last few days of craziness took a lot out of me.
Christmas feels like it is tomorrow, but there's still a bit to go. I'm done (I think) with the shopping and mailing. Tonight we went grocery shopping and I randomly decided I'm going to make a bunch of banana bread for our friends and neighbors. It's something I've done in the past - I've baked up to 20 or 30 loaves at a time for Christmas before, but I've kind of gotten out of all that. I think I'll make some this weekend. (I'd better, we bought about 30 bananas at the store tonight!)

So beautiful! I love Christmas, don't you?! Your tree and staircase are simply perfect! Good luck on your banana bread...if you haven't time, just pop the bananas in the freezer in their skins! They preserve for a month like that and when you thaw them they are perfect for making banana bread! I am doing pumpkin bread this Sunday evening. (I have to work Sunday! So it has to be Sunday evening and no way am I doing 20/30 loaves....!) love you guys!
